Betsy Malloy is a freelance photographer and travel writer based in the San Francisco, California area.

She specializes in travel photography and cityscapes, especially in California and Italy. However, her portfolio also holds pictures of Spain, italy, India, England and the Western United States.

Her photographs have appeared in Porthole Magazine, Mabuhay (Philippine Airlines), in the San Francisco Chronicle, Dallas Morning News, Boston Herald and other newspapers, and on the cover of Ideas on Liberty.

When she's not behind the lens, Betsy is often at her keyboard. She also writes about California travel for About.com at gocalifornia.about.com, where she has posted thousands of other photographs of California and the Western U. S.

Her first book, The Everything Travel Guide to Disneyland, California Adventure and Southern California, published by Adams Media is due on bookshelves in August, 2007.
